Welcome to the Centre for Humanitarian Diplomacy and Islamic Solidarity (CHDIS), an independent centre of excellence dedicated to advancing humanitarian diplomacy, peacebuilding, international humanitarian law and Islamic solidarity. Hosted at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), CHDIS serves as a premier platform for research, education, policy dialogue, executive training and humanitarian leadership. We bring together scholars, diplomats, judges, humanitarian practitioners, policymakers, faith leaders and development partners to develop innovative solutions to today's humanitarian and peacebuilding challenges.

Its work brings together research, policy, diplomacy, humanitarian engagement, executive education and strategic advisory in a single institutional programme — grounded in academic rigour and directed toward practical outcomes.
